Deda and Grandaddy spent Christmas Eve with us. We first visited some family and good friends in Fayettevile during the day, then came home for a delicious Christmas dinner.
Elizabeth then had to get to bed so that Santa could come. And Santa did not disappoint. Elizabeth must have been a very good girl all year because Santa brought her a Disney Princess bike, as well as some other princess-related garb. She also got lots of other great stuff from Mommy and Daddy as well as Deda and Grandaddy--lots of new clothes, toys and play jewelry. Mommy and Daddy racked up too, Daddy got a charter fishing trip and Mommy got a new iPod and accessories, among other things.
After breakfast we packed up the car and headed to Lake Gaston to have Christmas with the Nealis side of the family. We all again racked up on the gifts from Nanny and Papa as well as Aunts and Uncles. Highlights include lots of Tinkerbell toys, art supplies, a new tool set, and an NC State jersey. All three cousins were together too so we tried to get as many pictures of them together as possible. As you might could guess, getting 3 kids to look at the camera at the same time is near impossible.
Christmas was wonderful for all of us. We enjoyed quality time with family and friends and realized how truly blessed we are to have them all in our lives. Thanks again to everyone for making our holiday so special.
