A birthday, a duck race, and an alligator adventure

This weekend we went to Myrtle Beach to help Deda celebrate her birthday. We started Saturday with the "In the Pink" Breast Cancer walk and duck race in Murrells Inlet. Elizabeth had 6 ducks in the race, but sadly hers did not win. She did enjoy watching the pink rubber duckies float down the water.

After lunch we went back home for a nap, but one of us decided against it. Grandaddy then took us to Alligator Adventure. That was a lot of fun, they had lots of alligators and crocs as well as plenty of other animals to see. My personal favorite was Bob, the alligator born without a tail.Elizabeth and Daddy got to hold a real, live alligator too!

Her favorite animals were the tigers. They were huge--one weighed in at 845 pounds!
After Alligator Adventure we went for a yummy steak dinner, and the lack of nap started to catch up with Miss Elizabeth. So we called it a day after that. We had a great weekend and thank Deda and Grandaddy for hosting us. And we hope that Grandaddy is having fun in Florida right now!
