Elizabeth had to say goodbye to her best friend today. For the past two years Sophia and Elizabeth have been joined at the hip. They've been in the same class at school, and in the same class at Little Gym this past semester too. We've done tons of playdates with her as well and her family treated Elizabeth like one of their own. Sophia's Mom is being transferred to Northern California for work and they're leaving this weekend. For a while Elizabeth didn't quite understand that it meant Sophia wouldn't live here anymore. But today we think she finally got it, she asked her Daddy if he thought Sophia would remember her. So cute, and so sad :(
In honor of the BFF's I am posting a few pictures of them together. We hope the Guay family has a safe drive out west and they enjoy their new life in CA!
Elizabeth also hit a milestone today--it was her last day in the PreK 1 class at her school. Starting on Tuesday she will officially be the "big kid" and will be in PreK 2. Mommy is already a little sad about her being the big kid, I'll probably lose it the day she goes to kindergarten...

What sweet pictures! I am sure she will always remember Sophia. At least nowadays it isn't too hard to keep in touch!
