Welcome to our blog! For our first post, I thought we'd update through pictures some of the events of 2008 so far. It's been a great year for us. Elizabeth has become quite the world traveler (OK, so just a United States traveler!). We've been to Connecticut to visit her new cousin Audrey Clare, we've been to Chicago to visit her Great-Grandparents and Great Uncles, and of course lots of trips to Nanny and Papa's lake house and Deda and Grandaddy's beach house!

Here is Elizabeth enjoying the kiddie pool at Deda and Grandaddy's house just this past weekend. Tropical Storm Cristobal put a damper on our outdoor activities Saturday, but Sunday was a beautiful day.

Elizabeth caught a fish at Nanny and Papa's house the very first time she went fishing, in June. She was so proud!

We (along with Uncle Bill) visited Chicago in May. Elizabeth loved seeing Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Nealis, as well as Great Uncle Paul and Great Uncle Alan. We visited Lincoln Park Zoo while we were there. It was also her first airplane ride and she did great!

In April we visited the Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach with Deda and Grandaddy. Elizabeth loves to look at the fish.

We took a road trip to East Lyme, CT to visit Uncle Jim, Aunt Monica and Baby Audrey over Easter. Audrey was just a month old at the time, and cute as can be. Nanny and Papa were there too so it was a nice family visit. We had the privelage of becoming Audrey's Godparents at her Baptism on Easter Sunday.
